Thoughts on Isaiah

Today I am reading Isaiah 3 and 4. I can't help but notice the similarities between the judgments that are being pronounced against Jerusalem and Judah and the current economic crisis that we find ourselves in as a society. God is drying up our resources to draw our attention to the fact that we have forsaken His glory as a society. When poverty comes on a nation or globally, as so it seems now, we had better wake up. All of our economic strategies are nonsense in God's eyes. What He wants to see is repentance.
